Day 53!



Happy Friday! I'm having a pretty good one myself! Just finished Hip Meta 6, Day 3. Really liking this sequence. I find it goes by much  quicker than Sequence 5 and I dread doing it much less. I also did '08 dance cardio and beginner dance cardio for a total of 62 minutes of dancing. The other days this week I did ms and took long walks with the toddler in the jog stroller.

I've set some new fitness goals that seem more attainable. On the 3 days that I work early I will do my ms during naptime and try and get in a long walk with the toddler or after work with my husband. On my "off" days I will do ms followed by as much dancing as I can muster, hopefully 1 hour. In a perfect world that would be 4 hours of dancing, 6 days of ms and 3 hours of walking per week. We'll see how it goes!

Diet wise, I've been pretty good. Yesterday I had some wine and chocolates and a small cookie and a peanut butter and honey sandwich after dinner. Yikes! We are having some "construction" going on in our apartment that has displaced us from our bedroom. I'm currently sleeping on the couch and all my clothes are strewn about the house. I don't do well when things aren't tidy. I'm actually a bit nerotic about it so I soothed myself with food and wine.  All in all I was only about 450 calories over my target, so not too terrible. I plan to make up for it today by keeping my calories on the lower end of the spectrum.

My weight is remaining steady at 131.8. Annoying as I have been good with my food. I'm hoping that the cardio from today combined with strict calories will budge the scale a tad, just need a bit of motivation!

I have a birthday party tomorrow night and brunch for Mother's Day planned for this weekend. I realllllly want to stay focused so please send me vibes of self control!
